Warrior softball workouts under way

HUBER HEIGHTS — Softball workouts for the Lady Warriors will be at 4:30 p.m. and end at 6 p.m. Arrive in the rear of Studebaker Junior High School between 4:15 and 4:30. The doors will lock at 4:30. There will be no propping the door open. Please have a current physical on file and a current yellow card filled out for softball. These forms can be accessed on school website. Bring bottled water and dress softball appropriate. Bring Glove, tennis shoes, bat, batting helmet if you have. Any questions contact Coach John Chesley @ jchesley@woh.rr.com.

Boys soccer open gyms set

HUBER HEIGHTS — The Wayne boys soccer program will begin holding open gyms on Sundays starting January 24 from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Muntz Gym. All eighth grade boys interested in playing soccer as well as current high school students are invited to attend. For more information, contact Coach Dennis Snider at 271-3101.

Stealth baseball seeking players

VANDALIA — Stealth Baseball, 2015 champions of Division II in the Midwest Baseball Conference, is currently looking for athletic, coachable players to complete their 2015-2016 traveling roster for 10U players. If you are interested, please contact Les Lairson at leslairson4408@gmail.com or 937-890-2988 and he will provide you with more information. A player can not turn the age of 11 before May 1, 2016. An open try out will be set up upon your request.

Wood Bat Tournament set

STRUTHERS — The 2016 Bob Cene All Ohio Challenge Wood Bat Tournament for teams ages 16 thru 18 will be held June 23 thru June 26 at the Bob Cene Basaeball Complex in Struthers, Ohio. Contact Ken Quinn (330) 719-0581 for information.
