From the A.D.’s desk: relaxation

Some of your best athletes will tell you that being able to be relaxed before a contest, usually means great results. The ability to relax is a learned behavior. This is one of the many attributes that successful athletic programs teach their student athletes.

Much like a student taking an exam, when the material or game plan is learned properly and practiced well, then the art of relaxation can come into play.

It is so important for all of us to learn how to relax in life. Relaxation allows you to refocus your mind, refuel your body and revitalize your spirit.

This past week we have spent some special time with our own family while on vacation. Of course as we all get older, one of the best forms of relaxation is to spend time with Grandkids. Now that is relaxing!

Lastly, we would like to thank all of the those that have served. During this very special holiday, please don’t forget the meaning of our 4th of July Celebration. Take time to thank anyone that has served. Because of them we are able to relax and enjoy freedom. KEEP GOING WARRIORS!
