Staff report

HUBER HEIGHTS – The City of Huber Heights will host a public meeting at City Hall on Monday August 7 at 6:30PM as a part of the Parks and Recreation Master Planning process. The City is currently undergoing a strategic master plan for parks and recreation facilitated by Pros Consulting. This first public meeting will describe the process involved in developing the Master Plan, share preliminary findings to date, and provide opportunity for residents to give feedback regarding parks, facilities, and services.

“The overall plan will be designed to build a flourishing future for Huber Heights as we focus on one of the community’s highest priorities; our parks and recreation,” said Assistant City Manager Scott Falkowski.

This process and public meeting will help inform and guide the strategic planning process including park design, location, features and amenities, activities, programs and prioritization of City dollars.

“We encourage everyone who wants to be part of shaping the future of our parks to attend and participate in this process,” said Falkowski.

The meeting will be held at Huber Heights City Hall, 6131 Taylorsville Rd. on Monday August 7 at 6:30 p.m. and anyone interested is invited to attend.
