CLARK COUNTY — Late last month Huber Heights Fire Division personnel traveled to the Sutphen Corporation’s Chassis Plant in Clark County, to inspect the city’s newest fire engine. The chassis will soon depart the Clark County plant for the Sutphen facility in Dublin, Ohio where final assembly will take place.

Fire officials anticipate inspection and delivery in the first part of April. This engine is being purchased as part of FEMA’s AFG grant program with only a 10% match of funds from the City of Huber Heights. The engine will have the ability to pump 1,500 gallons of water per minute, and will carry 750 gallons of water, with an additional 20 gallons of Class A Foam, and 30 gallons of Class B foam.
