Huber police seeking car theft suspects

HUBER HEIGHTS — Huber Heights police are searching for a subject who stole a car early Friday morning in the 5300 block of Pathview.

An officer immediately spotted the vehicle near Taylorsville and Rustic Woods, but the driver sped away into a residential area. After beginning pursuit, the vehicle crashed less than a minute later into a fence at a business on Wildcat Road.

Three black male suspects fled the vehicle on foot. A canine unit was called in as were officers from Butler Township, Riverside, Metro Parks Rangers, and the Ohio State Patrol.

The stolen vehicle was recovered and returned to its owner, but the suspects have not been located and police are continuing their search.
