Huber Police seeking suspects in double shooting

HUBER HEIGHTS – Huber Heights police are seeking the public’s help with information on a shooting that took place in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 6 at the Heights Racquetball Club at 5239 Taylorsville Road.

At 2:39 a.m. a police officer near the club heard several shots fired. When he responded to the location to investigate, several subjects were leaving the area. Additional crews responded to assist in the investigation and shell casings were found in the parking lot.

A short time later, police were notified that two victims had arrived at Children’s Hospital with gunshot wounds incurred at the Heights Racquetball Club, which was hosting a party by an outside promoter.

Both victims, described as African American males in their early 20’s, were treated and stabilized at Children’s Hospital and then transferred to another hospital. One victim is critical and the other is stable.

Huber Heights Police Detectives and Evidence Crews are currently collecting evidence and investigating the incident.
