HUBER HEIGHTS — Come join us to “Light Up The Heights” for Christmas! The Wayne Township-Huber Heights Historical Society invites the community to the annual Lighting of the Community Christmas Tree on Monday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. in the Huber Centre.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive by a horse drawn wagon. children from a Huber Heights Elementary School will provide some beautiful music and the tree will be lit. Hot cocoa, cookies, model train display and horse drawn wagon rides, by Carrs’ Belgium and Carriage Services, will be part of the evening events at no charge. Photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus by All About You Photography will be available at $7 per photo.
An arts and craft fair will be held Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 28-29 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at 6140 Chambersburg Rd. in the Huber Center. During the two day and evening event, the annual silent auction of donated, decorated Christmas Trees will be on display for bidding. These trees are donated by local schools, businesses, organizations and individuals in the community. The Huber Centre is located at Chambersburg Rd and Brandt Pike, across from St. Peter School.
The Wayne Township-Huber Heights Historical Society is still taking RSVP for vendors in the arts and craft fair and donations of the decorated trees for the silent auction.
