HUBER HEIGHTS — Valley Forge Elementary and Wright Brothers Elementary are receiving $5,000 each from Burlington Stores, Inc., through its partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org in celebration of its new store in Huber Heights.

Representatives from Burlington Stores presented the checks to teachers and staff at Valley Forge and Wright Brothers during assemblies. The Wayne High School Marching Band and Jazz Band were also at the Valley Forge assembly to play several selections for students.

The donation will be divided amongst each building’s teachers so they can purchase supplies they need for their classrooms.

Burlington Stores reached out to Huber Heights City Schools (HHCS) about donating to elementary schools in need. HHCS administration identified Valley Forge and Wright Brothers as a good fit for the donation.
