The Huber Heights Courier has been the newspaper and information source of record for Huber Heights Township since 1973.
The Huber Heights Courier was purchased in June, 2017 by AIM Media Midwest which publishes 17 daily newspapers, 16 in Ohio and 1 in West Virginia, 15 weekly publications, and a variety of specialty publications. AIM Media Midwest focuses on local content across all forms of media including print, online and video. The Company recognizes the value and benefits that local news, information and advertising services bring to local communities and regional markets.
Prior to the Courier’s purchase by AIM Media, the publication was part of Civitas Media. Civitas Media was formed in 2012 and brought together four media entities formerly known as Heartland Publications, Freedom Central, Impressions Media, and Ohio Community Media.
Prior to the formation of Civitas Media, the Huber Heights Courier was part of Ohio Community Media, which emerged from the former Brown Publishing Company. Prior to that, the Courier was part of the Bowling-Moorman Company.
