In softball, Wayne senior catcher Caroline Cahill and freshman outfielder Breanna Musick earned first team honors in the GWOC Central Division.
Cahill had 18 runs and 31 hits, including seven doubles and one home run. She also had 20 RBI and one stolen base. Her on base percentage was .430 and her batting average was .412. Defensively, she had 94 putouts and 22 assists.
Musick had 26 runs and 36 hits. She also had six doubles, three triples and one home run. She had 15 RBI and three stolen bases. Her one base percentage was .500 and her batting average .456. Defensively, she had 26 putouts and one assist.
Named to the second team GWOC Central Division were senior pitcher Jamie Kimbler, senior infielder Cheyenne Mader, sophomore infielder Marissa Philpott and junior outfielder Elizabeth Wills.
Kimbler was 10-5 on the mound with 71 strikeouts. Defensively, she had nine putouts and 13 assists.
Mader had 23 runs, 34 hits and nine doubles. She had 19 RBI and a .429 on base percentage and a .415 batting average. Defensively, Mader had 25 putouts and 32 assist.
Philpott had 23 runs and 28 hits with six doubles and a triple. She recorded 16 RBI with one stolen base with a .506 on base percentage and a .412 batting average. Defensively, she had 53 putouts and 37 assists.
Wills had 24 runs and 33 hits with two doubles, a triple and four home runs. She had 27 RBI and three stolen bases with a .432 on base percentage and a .418 batting average. On the mound, she was 6-4 with 21 strikeouts.
