Collins highlights Raider basketball


Chris Collins, the play-by play radio announcer for Wright State University athletics, spoke at the Huber Heights Rotary Club on Monday concerning the WSU men’s basketball program. Collins, a 1976 Wayne High School graduate, began his career with the Raiders in the 1997-98 season, the same year that Ed Schilling became the men’s basketball head coach. His career in radio began in 1979 working at radio stations in North Carolina and Ohio. Some of the upcoming games Collins highlighted include the Nov. 20 road trip to Kentucky and to Xavier on Dec. 8, before hosting Bowling Green State University on Dec. 20 and Murray State on Dec. 22.
