Girls golf team places 11th at GWOC

ARCANUM — The Wayne Lady Warriors placed 11th in the Greater Western Ohio Conference post-season golf tournament with a score of 460 on Wednesday, Sept. 23. Centerville was first followed by Springboro and Lebanon.

Sophomores Heidi Weeks and Jennifer Hammond paced Wayne with a 107 and 109 while senior Bailey Massey had a 113. Sophomore Kelsey Fitzpatrick contributed a 131 as the top four scores were used to determine placement. Also competing for Wayne were sophomore Lauren Daily and senior Sydney Steckel.
