HUBER HEIGHTS — The Wayne boys soccer team shut out visiting Trotwood 10-0 Tuesday night to improve to 3-2-1.
Senior midfielder Brady Paxton led the Warriors with two goal and two assists. He scored the third and fifth goals of the first half as the Warriors took a 5-0 lead at intermission. Also scoring in the first half were Dylan Kindred, Austin Marler and freshman Mitchell Hawley, a reserve player.
Scoring in the second half were Michael Turner, Nate Keyes, Josh Miller, Cameron Picard and Nate Johnson.
Also recording assists were Kindred, Joe Miller, Nate Johnson, Daniel Brown, Cole Conover, and Garrett Russell, a sophomore reserve player.
Wayne out shot Trotwood 25-0.
“We get to play a lot of people and a couple of reserve players came up and we played them,” said Wayne head coach Dennis Snider. “A lot of people got to score.”
Wayne travels to Beavercreek at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.
