From the A.D.’s desk: Be a blessing

Jay Minton - Wayne HS Athletics Director

How do you view the Holidays? There are so many different views and opinions on this subject.

We would love to challenge everyone to have a very safe Holiday Season, but while you are doing it, practice these very important deeds. Do something for others without expecting something back in return. It truly is better to give than to receive. Give to others in need. Be a huge blessing to others.

The other part is to Love your family and enjoy the precious moments with them. Some people do not get this opportunity for many reasons and are very lonely during this time. May your family be someone that can reach out to someone that is alone and maybe brighten up their Holiday with the Love from your family.

Finally, please just remember that the Holidays mean so much more than giving and receiving gifts. I heard the Phrase, Christmas is not your Birthday, so please don’t pretend it is. This world is full of negative actions. Be a true Blessing and spread some of that warmth and care that we see so much of in our Community of Huber Heights.

May you and yours be blessed and have a very safe Holiday Season and a Prosperous New Year!
