HUBER HEIGHTS — The Chancel and Chapel choirs of Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church will be presenting the Easter cantata, “The Rose of Calvary,” at two services, 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. on Palm Sunday, March 20.
The cantata, composed by Joseph M. Martin with narration by Pamela Martin, portrays the life, ministry, passion, death up to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The cantata, presented by about 35-40 voices from the adult and middle school/high school choirs, will be directed by Ann Snyder. Pianist is Bryon Dobbs, and organist is Beth Funderberg. Narrators will be Skip Mahan and Amy Brooks.
Sulphur Grove is located at 7505 Taylorsville Rd., Huber Heights. Child care is available at both services. The sanctuary is accessible as is the parking lot.
