November candidates certified by Board of Elections

HUBER HEIGHTS — The slate of candidates for the November election is now finalized after the Montgomery County Board of Elections did final certifications on August 15.

Jeffrey Gore and David H. Wilson will face off in the Mayoral race after being the top two candidates in the May primary election.

Council races will see Nancy Byrge face Chase D. Warden for the at large seat, Seth A. Morgan and Tyler Starline in District 3, Andrew J. Hill and Carl J. Urbanas, Sr. in District 4, and Mark Campbell will face Linda A. Morin for the District 5 seat.

The race for Huber Heights School board will be uncontested as three incumbents, Kelly G. Bledsoe, Mark A. Combs, and William R. Harris will fill the three available seats.

Voters will also decide on the renewal of a 6.03 mill levy for Montgomery County Health and Human Services, bond issues and tax levies of .80, .29, and .34 mills for the Miami Valley Career Technology Center, and a renewal levy of Sinclair Community College’s 3.2 mills levy.
