HUBER HEIGHTS — The City of Huber Heights will be conducting a phone survey of randomly selected registered voters during the week of July 24, 2017. The survey is regarding residents’ opinions in reference to changing the city zoning code to allow for cultivating, processing and dispensing medical marijuana within the City of Huber Heights.
“We are committed to providing our residents with the best quality of life in the City of Huber Heights,” said City Manager Rob Schommer. “It is our goal to assess the residents’ thoughts related to cultivating, processing and dispensing medical marijuana in the City prior to council proceeding with changes to the zoning code.”
The survey, which is being conducted by a third party, will consist of approximately 12 questions focusing on areas such as awareness and support of medical marijuana businesses in the City of Huber Heights.
“If called, I encourage community members to participate in the phone survey,” Schommer said. “Your input is important and all feedback will be taken into consideration as we determine how to move forward on this issue.”
