Old Troy Pike bridge to be replaced

HUBER HEIGHTS – The City of Huber Heights has announced the following road closures and bridge replacements:

  • The roadway bridge over I-70 on Bridgewater Road will be closed on May 15th, 2017. The bridge will be removed and reconstructed. The project will be completed in approximately 5 months. Traffic will be detoured to Rip Rap Road, Little York Road, Brown School Road, and the back to S.R. 40 (National Road).

  • The bridge on Old Troy Pike located approximately 500 feet south of Chambersburg Road will be replaced with a new bridge structure. The roadway will remain open but traffic will be reduced from a 5 lane roadway to a 2 lane roadway (one lane each direction) during the reconstruction. The construction will begin on May 15th and will last for approximately 6 months.
