HUBER HEIGHTS — Local Students from across the Miami Valley area submitted more than a thousand posters for consideration in the annual AAA Traffic Safety Poster Contest. AAA has hosted the poster contest for many decades to stimulate creativity in students while teaching them life-saving traffic safety messages. Students showcase their artistic talents and traffic safety knowledge through hand-drawn or digitally-designed posters.

First, second and third place winners were chosen in four divisions: Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

AAA awarded nearly $3,000 using a three-tier prize structure with cash prizes awarded to the winning students, as well as their teachers and the schools they represent:

  • First place award is $100
  • Second place is $75
  • Third place winners receive $50

Zarina’s poster will be on display at the local Huber Heights AAA office for several weeks and community members are invited to stop by to see the winning poster.
