Weisenborn students compete at Power of the Pen

KETTERING — Weisenborn Junior High Power of the Pen student writers competed in the district tournament at St. Charles on January 28 and at the regional tournament at Wittenberg University on March 4.

The following writers were in the top 20 percent of 22 districts: Grace Gruen, Kamea Blaine, and Kiley White. Congratulations to Jordan Eddings and to Natalee Townsend who scored ranks of “1” in one or more rounds.

The team awaits notification about progressing on to Power of the Pen State tournament.
