Staff report

HUBER HEIGHTS — The community is invited to attend a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Goodwill store in Huber Heights, scheduled for 10 a.m. on June 15, 2016.

The store, located in the Sulphur Grove shopping plaza on Brandt Pike (near Interstate 70), will be the second Goodwill location in Huber, and will be the 28th retail location overall.

The Huber Heights Sulphur Grove Goodwill store hours will be Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This is the first of four new stores Goodwill will open this year. Others include Dayton (Miller Lane), Van Wert, and a store in Lima that will also serve as space for Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley’s northern programs.

Goodwill retail stores provide donation and shopping options for the community, as well as valuable training and job opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

All retail store proceeds support more than 40 programs and services that build on the Goodwill Easter Seals mission of empowering people with disabilities and other disadvantages to achieve independence and improve the quality of their lives.
