HUBER HEIGHTS – The Wayne Township-Huber Heights Historical Society held their Annual Meeting on Saturday, April 16, 2015 at the Society’s location in Studebaker School. Valerie Slanker provided information on Wayne Township as recorded in 1886 by Henry Cuppy about the roads and costs of maintaining them in the early days. Pat Stephens did a presentation on how Huber Heights grew from a township of less than 2000 to a city of over 3500. Information on the process of the incorporation of the City of Huber Heights was shared by Karen Kaleps.

The evening was informative and interesting, everyone in attendance enjoyed learning about Charles Huber and the making of Huber Heights.

Renewal of board members, whose terms were up for renewal were voted on my members who were present. Thanks to all the guests and members of the society for attending.
