Laronne Baber has been arrested for robbery and aggravated robbery. He is in the Montgomery County Jail with a $250,000 bond.

HUBER HEIGHTS — Huber Heights police have arrested a 20-year old man in connection to a robbery at the Hot Head Burritos on Brandt Pike.

Laronne Baber is currently incarcerated in the Montgomery County Jail with a $250,000 bond. He is being held on one count of robbery, a second degree felony, and one count of aggravated robbery, a first degree felony.

Baber was arraigned by Montgomery County Municipal Court Eastern Division Judge James Piergies on Monday, Feb. 8. A preliminary hearing has been set for Feb. 16 at 10:30 a.m.

Huber Heights police say Baber went to the restaurant just before 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 3. After unsuccessfully attempting to force the front doors open, he went to the side entrance and smashed the glass door.

After entering the restaurant, Baber allegedly chased the store employee who was attempting to escape.

He then assaulted the female and removed her pants which had her cell phone. He then left the store with her phone and pants.

Baber was arrested at an address on Taylorsville Road Sunday afternoon.
