HUBER HEIGHTS — The Wayne Township-Huber Heights Historical Society held their Fourth Annual Spooktacular Kruise In on Saturday, Oct. 31 in the Huber Centre on Chambersburg Road. This was the last day for the Heights Farmer’s Market for the 2015 season and a perfect time for the Kruise In at the Centre with the market.
Over 75 classic, historic and rare cars attended the event and 10 received awards, each from one of the sponsors, with the sponsor name.
The Wayside Collision award went to Jim & Becky Makley.
Ronnie Redd State Farm Insurance presented their award to Bob Adams.
Jeff Bonham Electric chose Vickie Jo Gullett.
The Kroger award was presented to Larry Martin.
The Heights Café awarded Steve and Cheri Summers.
Dick Kohlbacher received The Businesses at the Huber Centre award.
George’s Speed Shop gave their award to Russ Speelman.
Lowe’s presented an award to Charlie Rogers.
The Wayne Township-Huber Heights Historical Society presented the Best of Show to Chris Thobe.
The judges spent a lot of time looking over all the entries and the decisions were difficult.
The Wayne Township-Huber Heights Historical Society is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization and proceeds from this event supports the Shearer Cemetery Restoration Project.
