HUBER HEIGHTS — The Huber Heights Library and Five Rivers MetroParks hosted the Third Annual Seed & Perennial Plant Swap on Oct. 3. In addition to local gardeners and library patrons, students from The Seed School presented by The Rocky Mountain Seed Alliance at Antioch College attended.

If you would like to learn more about The Seed lending Library and get involved, there will be a Seed Sorting Social on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m. This is an opportunity to meet other seed savers and share success stories and 2016 garden plans, and get a sneak preview of new gardening books and seeds available for spring planting.

Additional garden programs planned for the fall season include the following: Lessons from the Soil on Nov. 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. and Urban Farming on Tuesday, Nov. 10 from 6:30-8 p.m.
