Library to host seed and perennial plant swap on Saturday

HUBER HEIGHTS — The Huber Heights Branch Library will host a seed and perennial plant swap from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3. Bring your favorite plants and open pollinated seeds, labeled and ready to swap.

Learn about local community gardens, donate seeds and browse the seed collection.

Registration requested, but walk-ins are welcome.

On Oct. 20 from 6:30 to 8:15, the library will host a seed sorting social. Help sort, label and organize the seed donations. Meet other seed savers, share success stories as well as plans for the 2016 gardens. Refreshments will be provided.
