Three file for two board seats


Nov. 3 election also features four Council seats

HUBER HEIGHTS — Three residents have met the Aug. 5 deadline for filing petitions with the Montgomery County Board of Elections to run for two seats in the Huber Heights City Schools Board of Education race. Their petitions are expected to be certified later this month for the election which will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Incumbent Anita S. Brock filed petitions on July 31 while G. Michael Miller and Krista R. Tipton filed their petitions on Aug. 5. Carl Fisher, an appointee to the board, did not file.

The Huber Heights City Council races feature incumbent Jan Vargo against Glenn T. Otto in the Council At-Large race; incumbent Lu Dale against Richard E. Shaw Jr. in Ward One; incumbent Karen J. Kaleps against Janell Smith in Ward Two and incumbent Edward W. Lyons against Richard Stan in Ward Six.
